Why our prices increase each year

Once again, it’s a question that can get overlooked, and we believe it’s important to address this right from the outset. At Sound Networks, our managed IT support prices increase each year by CPI plus 3%.

We know price increases are not anyone’s favourite, but we believe it is better to be clear and predictable about them. This can then lead to larger and painful price jumps later down the line, which are often more difficult for customers to absorb. We believe a planned annual adjustment is a fairer way of working for all. It also makes for easier budgeting, and better for long-term service quality.

It also helps us avoid underinvestment, which serves neither you or us well. If we don’t continue investing in our own business, our people, systems, and tools, that eventually affects the service which we provide to our customers. A healthy, well-run IT provider is better placed to deliver responsive support, proactive advice, and solid security.

Our aim is not to be the cheapest provider, but to offer consistent, professional, and sustainable IT support long term and that continues to improve over time.
